Battle of the Year attracts all the best teams from around the world, but the Americans haven't won in fifteen years. Dante enlists Blake to assemble a team of the best dancers and bring the Trophy back to America where it started.

Oh Josh Holloway. You could at least try.

The $8,888,355 box-office hit that was pushed back 8 months finally hits blu-ray!

Just finished watching this, and it was very forgettable. I've seen straight-to-video dance movies much better than this. The blu-ray artwork is a joke, using Chris Brown to sell the film when he's only in it for the first hour. The artwork makes it look like the female choreographer is dancing but all she does is stand around and yell during terribly edited dancing montages. The secondary characters are disposable and even though I just finished the film, I can't remember any of their names. One secondary character says he's gay and that he loves his mother TWICE in the film, and that's pretty much all we know about him. And another secondary character is a father who we're supposed to have sympathy for, but that's hard to do when later in the film, his girlfriend goes to France to see him and he says "where's THE BABY?"... not "our baby" or it's actual name.. just "the baby". Josh Holloway also squeezes in his tragic back-story right before the film ends. This film suffers from terrible editing, dance sequences, and writing.

Default 3D only release - really Sony, really?

What overpaid idiot thought this was a good idea? Let's take a movie that tanked and come out with 2 separate releases, 1 that is 3D only and can't be viewed in 2D. What is this, 2010? Greatest decision since Disney's Oz The Great and Powerful.

A movie starring Chris Brown is an instant failure ! As hard as he try, he can't act for sh*t !!!

Except Takers, but the film was more about Idris Elba, Hayden Christensen, Paul Walker, Matt Dillon...

This was the worst movie I've ever seen. Sadly I bought the 3D bluray to find this out. The writing is awful. The characters are bad.
Josh was the only good thing, but naturally playing an alcoholic put me on edge. I'm not a fan after dealing with an alcoholic for 4 years.

Stay away from this film.

My sympathies. I thought the trailer would be enough warning to stay away. I actually do want to see this at some point just to see how bad it is. I imagine it won't be much longer before it is clogging the shelves at Five Below and I'll pick it up then.

Yeah the movie seemed very cliche and did nothing for me. 3D wasn't the greatest, but I must say that I liked Josh Peck. I wish he would have better roles. He was great in The Wackness afterall.

I had purchased this a few years ago from Value Village (still sealed). I saw it in cinemas and didn't mind it since I like dance movies. At the time, I didn't have a 3D projector and assumed it came with a 2D version. When I watched it tonight in 3D I was surprised it was a single disc package.

I like the movie more than the previous posters but the 3D was really underwhelming. It made me appreciate the Step Up movies that much more. Better dancing and far superior 3D. A curious lack of pop outs in this one.
