I can almost guarantee that Gravity will get more than one steel in Europe. I'll be waiting for the UK announcement. Warner have been great making 2D/3D steels there recently.

The film is pretty stunning as well, will look perfect on blu but this is very much a cinema film. 3D is the best I have ever seen, and I HATE 3D.

same here regarding 3D. Gravity was the first 3D film I've seen since Caroline years ago. Will be keeping my eye out for the best steel

Good movie and great 3D. Just wish it was shot in HFR when I saw it in the theaters. Will make a nice addition to the 3D Blu-ray library, though.

Whoops! Pre-ordered this back in November and it shipped today. Thought I'd cancelled all my pre-orders on this. Think I'll try to return it if possible...

It's from Warner Bros. - so no region coding at all.

Thanks for the info. I just read on the main thread for Gravity that the German release received 5,000 Kbps more video bitrate than the US release. Might just keep my order after all. If nothing else I'm sure another member around here wouldn't mind picking up the better 3D version of the film.

just cancelled my US 3D pre-order and ordered this. Decided on this one over the UK version.

Any difference between the German and UK versions?
