If the next-gen doesn't grab you,
http://www.oppodigital.com/blu-ray-b...03-Images.aspx ![]() I still have my Chubby B**** though I have thought about selling it for a profit since it's the backward PS2/1 60GB model. Right now it's been nestled in a box for quite some time. I did sell a 120GB PS3 to my father for Netflix playback but he now uses a Sony BD player instead because of Harmony remote issues with his set-up. I don't think ill part with the 60GB ![]() |

I used my Ps3 as a Blu Ray player... back in 2006 when other Blu Ray players cost $800 and up.
It's been forever since I used the Ps3 as a Blu Ray Player. I skip the Oppo's and go with Sony BDP's but that's preference. ![]() Either way,... I have read it's about the worst possible time to sell a Ps3. A lot of people are trading in PS3's to get PS4. So,... a couple months ago you would have done better. Either way,... I wouldn't even waste time selling my PS3... If I was really "done" I would still keep it ... not worth selling for $100 if you ask me. The more I read about PS4,... the more interested I am in my Ps3. ![]() =Brian Last edited by bhampton; 11-03-2013 at 11:09 AM. |

The only way I'll sell my PS3 (ever) is if they updated all my favorite games from the Uncharted, Batman, and other franchises for the PS4 - with physical discs, not downloads - or the PS4 is so phenomenally better than the PS3 that playing PS3 games feel like watching a movie on vhs. So, I currently expect to keep my PS3 at least until the PS5 comes out. |

I would say start by posting it on facebook (if you have an account) that you're selling it. Then move on from there, craigslist, ebay, etc...Sell it as a bundle with everything because you'll definitely get more compared to just selling the system itself. New ones are going for $300/$250 right now. As a bundle, I'd say $200 would be a great offer, depending on how many games you have. If you have a lot of games, or accessories, you can try selling it for $250. I recently sold my Wii U for $250 with the classic controller and 3 games. I got a sweet deal when Assassin's Creed 3 came out. I had the old fat 60gb PS3. I traded it in towards the new super slim 500gb system bundle with AC3. I already had purchased AC3 so I sold the extra copy of AC3 to a friend for $50. After the trade in and the selling of the game, the upgrade from the 60gb fat to the 500gb super slim was only $50!!! ![]() ![]() |

I get that it's not a good time to get credit for your PS3 & an all that right now. PS4 is sold out. So if you trade in without any pre-order, what will you be gaming on till January? Sure if ya gots a pre-order I can't see the harm but testing your luck with crowds surrounding stores that haven't yet received their next shipment isn't something I'd wanna do. ![]() ![]() |
