I recently purchased a japanese PS3. I need to know If I can watch all USA Blu Ray DVD's on it. THanks for any help...

dvd's.....no.....different region coding

Blu-ray..yes....japan is in the same region coding as north, central and south america.

SO any blu ray dvd being sold in the usa from the same region that the USA is in would constitute that that blu ray dvd could be watched on the japanese dvd player?


Also, will all PS3 games from the USA work with a Japanese PS3?

Any american Blu-Ray can be viewed on any Japansese PS3 and Blu-Ray Player.

AFAIK all PS3 games are region free.. there for will play on any console in any region.
