Quick question... do you mean Fox's logo on here? or Fox Searchlights logo?

Sorry for digging up an old thread (I knew I saw this thread here long ago), but with the advent firmware update 2.3 for the PS3, I finally know which logo/intro is my favorite, which is Fox. The visuals are OK, but the music definitely blows everything out the water. I mean, its so hard hitting with the orchestration, and you can feel that thump on the last note resonating in your chest.

I am going with Fox. Though I don't like the little edgy's that appear in their new digital logo. Columbia Pictures comes in second though. Too bad Jerry Bruckheimer's not up there. His logo is awesome.
And yeah, Fox has done pretty nifty stuff with their logos. Last one I recall is Sunshine, where the camera pans to the back of the logo to where the sun is. Another is Moulin Rouge, with the opera house-like presentation.

Disney, who I think has the best visuals, did something neat with Enchanted, and Charlie's Angel was done the same way with the Columbia logo.

Have to go with Fox simply because of the Star Wars thing, I'm afraid, my first true love...

Running a close second is Disney though, being the hounds that my family are...

Indeed. Ever since I was a kid, I loved the Fox fanfare, even when it's not a Star Wars movie, it makes me think of Star Wars.

Disney, with the castle and fireworks. It's changed over the years, from a simple castle and wave of Tinkerbell's wand at the beginning of The Wonderful World of Disney, to a full blown CGI scene with twinkling lights, a moat, and a train going full steam ahead. No matter how it changes, it always signals the start of something magical...

How could you omit the MGM Lion growl intro? An absolute classic.

I voted WB because it seems to me like their's enters with more bass than anyones. I love to just watch that part on my 300 BD. My least favorite is the NL one. I hate the music that accompanies it.

It has to be Fox. First the awesome fanfare music and many of their movies incorporate the logo somehow into the opening credits(see From Hell for an example). Second place would be Warner's logo. Many of their movies play with the color scheme of the logo.

I threw my vote in for New Line. I love how the highs sound at the beginning in DTS HDMA. The whole intro (a whole 4 seconds ) is very clean sounding. I've always liked New Line's opening, but now it's even better.

My second vote would be for the Fox Fanfare.

1. Walt Disney - obviously the best
2. Fox Searchlight
3. Warner
4. DreamWorks (no matter how low is this studio behaving during the format war)
5. Universal Studios
