Default Uwe Boll Challenges Michael Bay to Death Match

http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/04/25/...o-death-match/

Hack video game movie director Uwe Boll has had enough of AWESOME Hollywood action director Michael Bay’s disrespect, and has challenged to the Transformers director to a 12-round boxing match to settle it all.

“Michael Bay responded to my note about him in a very insulting way for me. He said that he doesn’t care about me and this was very insulting because I care about him and I think that with the money he has for his movies, he sucks big time. I think it’s time to meet in the ring actually.

So it’s my message to Michael Bay, Michael, in between your pool parties in LA or your casting sessions with the strippers you should start training now. And I’m sure you look good, you look thin. I saw you at the Hollywood Film Festival, I think you’re a fit guy and you do like private karate bullshitAsia bullshit crap fighting stuff in LA where you think you’re super cool that you do that with your 500 bucks trainer everyday.

So let’s meet in the ring in September or October. Pay-per-view. Mandalay Bay. Las Vegas. Twelve rounds of boxing. Boll against Bay. And it’s also independent against the studio system and I think that this day in Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas we will clear it up who is not only the better director who is also able to fight more for that what he wants.”

Discuss: Who would/should win in a fight between Boll and Bay?

Well that depends. "Asian karate crap" doesn't work very well under boxing rules

If you take a pro level boxer vs a combat level practicianer of karate, the boxer is going down

If you take a boxer vs someone who got a black belt at 99% of karate schools in the US, well, I might put even money on it, since most people who are given the black belt have no idea how to actually use it in a fight

Suffice to say I doubt we'll ever find out. It was one thing for a bunch of net nerds to take him on and get their asses beat cause half of them had never been in a fight in their lives. It'd be quite another if Boll ever actually went after someone who could fight back.

Needless to say I look forward to the day he decides to go after Jet Li and jump him on the street, because that's the only way he would fight him IRL

If I were Michael Bay I would say
"Let's have a box office competition. The one with the biggest box office wins. lets go *****! let's see that genius!"

That just feeds his "I refuse to work in the studio system and so therefore am the little independant who can't possibly compete when in actuality I make shitty movies that the big boys refuse to distribute because they make no money" martyrdom complex

when I think of Boll boxing I just see that episode of south park... the one where they want to be back by christmas and Eric says that if they aren't he will fight Kyle. He talks and talks about it the whole episode then when it is time for the fight Kyle just slaps him and Cartman starts to whine and cry.

The whole thing is just a complete and utter joke, Boll knows that his movies absolutely suck, he is just in a state of utter denial. Kind of reminds me of a certain group of companies not too long ago.

Boll, as much as he sucks does have a point

His films RARELY lose money, and almost always make a decent profit.

Because morons keep renting his movies and buying them. Since they're made for so little, it's not hard to make it up that way

I should amend that BTW

Dungeon Siege lost its shirt It cost a reported $70 milllion and made about $11. Who knows how much of that 70 really exists after tax loopholes though

I'm all for this. I just finished watching In the Name of the King. Some one needs to stop this madness.

There were actually legitimate actors and actresses in this movie (minus Matthew Lillard) and it was still god awful.

I would actually pay to watch that fight... even though I honestly think Uwe Boll would kick Bay's ass.
