Default Will Zavvi re-release Iron Man 1 & 2?

I know some people aren't fans of the Thor and Cap. America re-releases, but regardless, if they did re-release 1 & 2 (and Avengers I guess) then they would have released the whole of phase 1 on steelbook.

Anyone have any knowledge of potential releases?

Depends upon Disney as they now own the franchise.

Seems like a good chance, seeing all the Disney stuff Zavvi is getting currently. Personally I hope they re-visit the Pirates of the Caribbean series!

No they wouldn't have.
There's been no re-release of "The Incredible Hulk" by them.

Oh yea, this is true, forgot about Hulk!

I wonder why they chose Thor and Captain America first then?

Disney doesn't have the home video distribution rights for The Incredible Hulk yet, Universal still has them. The deal they made was for Iron Man 1&2, Thor and Captain America with Paramount.

I thought they should have done it already, when they came out with Thor and Captain America. I guess they've seen how much the HMV versions were going up on ebay and wanted a slice. I don't mind Zavvi doing their versions - as long as Iron Man doesn't look like the Future Shop one.

They seem to play it basic and take the amaray cover art, so I can see them use something like this:

There's better artwork out there in my opinion. But I can't see Zavvi making a creative effort other then what's already "safe".

Those single disc version covers are horrible. Thank god the 2 disc IM and 3 disc IM2 covers were way better.

Those are nice covers. Pretty representative of each move. Maybe throw those on the back and do close up's on the chest plate(like Zavvi did for number 3) for 1 and 2. That would make for an interesting trilogy.

i don't have problem with them releasing new iron man steels, as long as it is not yet

they should wait, it's not that long a go play released im 1 & 2 (only 1 year? maybe 18 months?)

Otherwise it's getting boring, constantly re-releases ... takes the fun out of it !

Yeah but Play.com already used those for their steelbooks. Seeing how Zavvi is realising Disney titles and all they do is go and use the past DVD art, I think they would use the same method here.

The idea of using chest plates to match Iron Man 3 would be a neat and interesting idea though. And would look great lined up, front first.
It would be like the hall of armour.

Yes, I know. But Scott HKR was implying that Zavvi would be re-releasing all of Phase 1, and since "The Incredible Hulk" is a Phase 1 movie, than I thought it would've been only fair to inform him otherwise.

I wouldn't mind if *if* they use decent artwork.

If they're just going to use the same artwork found on amaray cases, then why bother?
