Steelbook is a little strange, but I thought the film was terrific so I'll try and pick this one up once released.

I hope that the Steelbook art isn't final. I'll cancel my order if it turns out to be like this.

Saw this the other day. Great film. But seeing as I was stung £16 (one student and one adult) at cineworld, I'll wait for a price drop! Cinema prices these days are a joke and it's no wonder they're all so empty all of the time!

Play it smart and you can save a little. I know some people who live near Cineworld's that get the unlimited card but it's only worth it if you're gonna make the effort and they show the kinds of films you like.

Personally I go to see films with my father or sister, who at some point both got Odeon Premiere cards which means we often get a free ticket (lots of points when you see IMAX films). So we generally see IMAX films at Odeon, and if we're going to Vue or Picturehouse (my favourite) we try to aim for Orange Wednesdays too (BOGOF standard ticket prices). I've not seen Captain Phillips yet but will see it this week because I'm wary about blind-buying (this and Alpha Papa are the only films I've missed this year in the cinema that I've really wanted to see).

Disagree, this is one of the best designs I've seen this year so far.

Here in Portugal, one of the TV-Internet-Phone home providing companies owns the biggest chain of cinemas in the country. If they're your TV provider, you only pay for one ticket when you go to the cinema with someone else (1 ticket = 6.60€ / £5.58). And I thought cinema tickets were expensive here...

Default Captain Phillips (2013)

Yer it's not our local cinema as we were visiting friends. But our local is more or less the same. Orange Wednesdays is good - buy one get one free with a code - but then we're not with EE as they are a terrible company who can't do anything right...they still owe is about £40 from 2 months ago, if the shoe was on the other foot and we owed them money...

I'm looking forward to seeing it for the second time,a lot of guys prefer the Danish movie,A Hijacking but not for me,maybe because Tom Hanks puts in another superb performance,I think Captain Phillips is the better movie.

Agreed - I liked A Highjacking, especially for the performance from the shipping company boss, but Captain Phillips is still the better film...Greengrass' best in fact, in my opinion.
