I've been trying to stock up, but I can't find any places that have any good Christmas Blu-Rays for sale in store. Guess I'll just have to start ordering stuff from online.

Definitely on the hunt for some of my favorite Christmas classics on Blu. I haven't bought much on Blu-Ray because they are always on TV near the Holidays but this year that changes.

Before I do that, I might head up to my local Best Buy just to see what they got. I've been to 2-3 Wal-Marts and they haven't had sh*t in the way of Christmas Blu's.

True, but I think they have to give off a certain vibe before they can be classed as "Christmas Films".

I can suggest four or five less , but how about swapping the incompetently nightmarish/fever-dream '09 Christmas Carol for either the spooky-in-the-right-way '51 Alastair Sim version (which the Jim Carrey version went all-out to copy) or the all-star George-C-Scott-nails-it '83 version, both on Blu?

This might be a good year to rediscover the 80's-Salkind "Santa Claus: the Movie", too, and as long as everyone's showing off obscure "It has Christmas in it!" picks, I'll make my usual pitch for "Curse of the Cat People", if you can track the earlier DVD copy down at the library. (Curse you, Warner Archive!)
And how about taking the step and making the pledge this year: "Holiday Inn" INSTEAD of "White Christmas"?

As for TV episodes/specials, no year is complete without "Blackadder's Christmas Carol", the MST3K version of "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians", or on Twilight Zone:S2 and 3, either the "Night of the Meek" or "Changing of the Guard" episodes, the latter of which makes a much less mealy It's a Wonderful Life substitute.

The Gathering - 1977 - Ed Asner - dvd only I believe.

Was able to make it out to Best Buy today and while their collection wasn't anything special, I did find a few movies on Blu-Ray.

Arthur Christmas - $9.99
Scrooged - $9.99
Jingle All the Way - $7.99

Epic haul! I haven't seen Arthur Christmas yet, might add it to my Christmas watch-list.
