Default Wild at Heart (1990) - Out of Print

PRE-ORDER: http://www2.screenarchives.com/title...AT-HEART-1990/

Quote:
David Lynch delivers a "stunning piece of work" (Chicago Tribune) with this "flamboyantly violent and erotic" (The Village Voice) tale of love on the run. Winner of the prestigious Palme d'Or at the Cannes International Film Festival, Wild At Heart is a twisted "rollercoaster ride to redemption through an American gothic heart of darkness" (Variety). If Lula (Laura Dern) knows on thing in this world, it's that she's destined to be with her ex-con boyfriend Sailor (Nicolas Cage) - no matter how many times her mama (Diane Ladd) tries to kill him. But when she and Sailor finally hit the road in a desperate bid to find happiness, their journey plunges them into a disturbing underworld filled with sexual secrets and dangerous desires that form a terrifying "tapestry of human extremity" (Variety).

Breaks my heart the worst company in the history of home viewing formats releases such a great film.

They wont see a penny from me. hopefully someday this will get a proper release from a good studio.

One of my all time favs. I will try and place an order when it goes live but if I am not able to get one I will just be happy with my DVD. As much as I love the movie I will not pay Fright Night secondary market prices.

is a region free German release with optional subs, for < 8 euros.
Amazon.de now only charges 3.25 euros to ship one movie to the U.S.

Wild At Heart is about 6+ GBP at Amazon UK:

- but is region B.

edit: there is a region free German set, but it doesn't have 'Wild at Heart'

Click the covers to go to the site's entries for 'Wild at Heart'

they are the worst. those lil companies you listed never got their hands on so many great films and treated them with such disrespect.

People really need to stop supporting TT

I will consider this release IF it has all the deleted scenes from the Lime Green set bonus disc. Otherwise, I have the Region Free UK disc.

I guess no Lime Green boxset the blu-ray edition. Too bad because there were a whole slew of deleted scenes on there that I'll only assume won't make it to the TT disc. I guess at least we're finally getting another Lynch film released region A.

Troll elsewhere. Someone else we can put on ignore. You need facts to back up that statement.

I wonder if the transfer is going to be the same as the one MGM put out almost ten years ago, or if it's a new scan?

I've already got the Japanese release. I'll consider double dipping if this offers anything (outside of the isolated score) that that release doesn't.

Overly dramatic, much? The majority of TT's releases have been fine; there's no need to get worked up about it.

I've been waiting for US releases of more Lynch films, but eh...unless there's some cool exclusive content (other than a score-only track or something), I'll just import. Lynch's movies have been out overseas for a long time now. Might be time just to get the UK box set.

Indeed. Most of their transfers varies from good to great. And that's what matters most. Some of them have decent extras too.

Another great film I will have to skip because of who is releasing it. What a crying shame.

People who say that Twilight Time is the worst label for simply doing numbered editions (which is a sound strategy, as they are a small company and a large release for one title could break them) are just as bad as the people here who act like Man of Steel is the worst movie ever. Forceful and annoying.

It's just a $30 Blu-ray and you can live if it sells out. Get over it.

I guess there's no chance that Criterion will release a David Lynch set or one with this film, eh?
