All movie games suck. And Iron Man failes for a good game unless it was a Big time game like R2 and GOw.

There is a terrible demo of it on the store, and I admit that demo removed any want to actually purchase the game.

HP : OOTP is awesome, best (... only) Sixaxis use in a game, great free roaming experience and the game story (really different from the movie) is really fun, proves the Sixaxis is 8569% times better than the Wiimote/nunchuk.

Then make great emphasis not to play the demo for that is the complete opposite of the experience oriented in the demo.

Let's all admit it; this is just not that great of a game. I wouldn't even spend $39.95 on it. I'll admit that I still can't wait to see the theatrical release but as for the controls, they should have patterned them after those in Marvel ultimate alliance.

I played the demo but it wasn't much of a demo lol.

i whent to best buy other day right after watching the movie at theather and saw the game on the shelft next to all the other versions ( xbox ps2 wii ds)
and looked at ps3 version and ressolution was 720 output which is prety the basic right now some are 1080p but not many
soo i just happen to look at xbox version and its 1080p
WHAt the hell
jsut a typo on ps3?
or does the 2 year old platform with outdated disk capacity have better graphics??

Pretty sure the game is 720p on both, the packaging of the 360 in this case would then be lying, just counting on the auto upscale fonction of the 360.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

The Iron Man game BTW in no way shape or form stacks up to the movie. Have you played the demo?

Just tried out the demo (its out on XBL first, or i would have gotten it on the PSN). The game looks pretty good, i was expecting a lot worse with it being Sierra but it impressed me. The music is of course awesome, since DJ Paul Oakenfold did all the music for the game. The fighting is AWESOME, basic combos and attacks, but once your adrenaline is built up, you press a button to do takedown moves which are simply put, BADASS. They are many different take downs as well, and they use the environment around you (one takedown had me smash the guy through a heater on the wall).

What sucks about the game is that there are these scenes you get to where you have to press a certain button and there is a very short window of time to press and react. If you mess up, you have to sit through a long loading screen until you are back in the game and re-try where you messed up. It strikes me as a lack of polish, but otherwise, the game is a blast. I am going to pick this up even tho i had hardly any interest in it previously, demo sold me on it.

I don't recall what those "quick button presses" scenes are called, but they are stupid. I don't know why developers insist on doing it, it's worthless and just a pain.

Uncharted had some of them and in my opinion was one of the few cons the game had.

They're fine if all that happens is you lose some life or something, such as in God Of War. When you just die or get caught and have to re-load due to it, its stupid.

I've heard that if you stop in the action during the game, the game pauses. My mind isn't exactly clear on that, but I'm sure thats what happens.

Video game adaptations of movies are rarely any good. Iron Man is no exception.

Reviews are sparse on this game, but PlayStation: Official Magazine (June issue, out now) gave it a 2 out of 5; sorry no link for this review.
