Posting your BD collection as a function of your profile. - Blu-ray Forum

So I've been searching the forums all morning about this topic, and I didn't seem to come upon any former conversations regarding this.

I was wondering, instead of posting about your collection, we could have a function within our profiles that lists our BD collection (a la DVDspot). To see each users' list, you could put a small link or icon underneath their avatar.

Perhaps on each movie's page, you could provide a checkbox that says "I own this", and it automatically gets added to that user's collection list; similar in fashion to Amazon.com, when they recommend items for you.

Anyone else with me on this?

I kind of mentioned this here. I think its a great idea to help with trades, see stats of which movies most of us have or how we rate them. Just a good, neutral or negative etc.

i tried using dvd spot but they have to many titles missing so im not bothering to update my collection their.

You have to add what's missing. It is user based. I think I make corrections for every title I add to the site. In the end, it's worth it to me.

Um...I mean...good idea! It would be cool if people could also put their HT set-up on their profile too. Long sigs can be obnoxious. SOME of us are obnoxious all on our own. And by "us" I mean...not me.

This website has the feature , http://www.chasingthefrog.com/forums...ead.php?t=8431 -- in the link i chose a thread i added something on --,I've had my collection posted there, (yes im King Leon there too) , but would much rather have a colletion posted here (but a "My Blu-Ray Collection" button) since I never really check that webpage but for trailer music, this website really needs it. The All-Time fav button they have is also pretty cool.
