And for us that have missed them a UK release would be most welcome

Although I sympathize for those people who did not get a POTC steelbook, the fact remains us old veterans have had been subjected to so many re-releases over time it seems like its time to move on.

People talk of Ironman still? After all this time?

I never did like the Pirates of the Caribbean steelbooks from Canada and the US. Especially since no other countries did a different (better/any) release for 1-3. Really surprised the UK never did one before the 4th.

Since Maleficent is coming out next year and Sleeping Beauty hasn't been honored with the 'Diamond Edition' yet, I would expect Zavvi to come out with a steelbook soon for it.

Also, I think they should come out with a Beauty and the Beast steelbook with the original poster art.

It would go really nicely with The Littler Mermaid one. Besides, it actually hasn't had a steelbook yet. Only an ironpack.

As long as the title for BATB isn't vertical. God...terrible.

I kind of wish they would use the movie poster art for these steelbooks. I think they are absolutely beautiful.
Not the previous DVD pictures that make them too "cartoony". I know, it's ironic because they are cartoons.
But these feel more worthy do be used for the design of a steelbook.

Classy... eye-catching... epic. Love it!

P.S. I know The Lion King one is for the IMAX re-release, but I like this one more.

Edit: And I know Zavvi hasn't done a steelbook for TLK.

My goodness, those arts are beautiful. Now I hope either Blufans or Kimchi will use them for their collection.

well obv.
but titles that have never had any steel/metal treatment should get it first.

for those of you who missed out first time round, you'l get your chance eventually.

have to disagree with TLK as the Taiwan/Korean version is perfect and I dont believe will be beaten - there's gorgeous debossement on the images that a picture cannot do justice

would like to see more of the simplistic art you've shown above on other titles mind

agreed

give titles who've yet to get any form of steel/metal treatment a go first, before starting with the re-releases of DIsney classics

Alice and the hound next please.

If you want to do what the guy up there suggests by doing the steels again with the poster artwork, I won't hesitate to order again.

Beg to differ all you want. That still doesn't do it justice - looks SOOOOO much better in hand.
Though that picture does show off the debossment better than what I posted.

Exactly.
No picture can replicate the feel and look of having it in your hands

Even the inside looks good

Does anyone have a spare copy of Peter Pan on order? I didn't realise until last week that I hadn't ordered it.

I can pay cash or maybe even offer other Steelbooks as a trade.

Many thanks in advance.
