Default Will we ever see Blu-ray cases in other colors??

Will we ever see cases for blu-rays in colors other than blue??? I was looking at the special edition for the Spiderwick Chronicles in bright red and it looks really nice.

It's possible that we might see different colors in the future for certain releases.

Yes, they were called HD DVDs. They didn't last too long.

yea.....but for instance on some select movies, they could make the cases a certain color. an example, my copy of Dr. Suess: How the Grinch stole Xmas is green.............

I believe that would be truly up to the studio making the release.

I vote no. Keep them Blu as long as there are SD DVDs out there. It makes it easier to spot the ones I want to buy.

I say keep them all the same, blue! The whole purpose is to help tell the difference between DVD, since some just want to find it on the shelf in 5 seconds instead of reading the package.

That's what the different shape and form factor are for. There will be cases with other colors in the future

I don't know about the rest of you but I sure like all my videos to look uniform on my rack. Different shapes and colors would stick out like a sore thumb.

I agree i love the blu cases. Although on places like 9covers some of the fake bluray covers look waaaaay better with a black case. but it was because the colors matched the black case and right now all the covers are made to look good with a blu case. anyways im good with blu.

I highly doubt we'll ever see Blu-ray cases in other colors. I'm all for Blu-ray cases remaining blue now and forever! Blu-ray is for life!!
