Received this today, but not opened it up yet. Will watch it probably on Thursday or Friday and really looking forward to it. Soda release a lot of interesting titles and I'm hoping this sells well to encourage them more as they often stick to DVD only (Museum Hours, Renoir, Hannah Arendt for example).

Full extras:
"Making of Wadjda" documentary (33:24) "Women Without Shadows" short film (41:44) Start-up Trailers: - "Monsieur Lazhar" (2:09) - "Renoir" (1:55) - "Museum Hours" (2:07) Theatrical Trailer (1:52) So missing the commentary and Q&A from the USA release, but gaining the short film. It's 1080p AVC, optional English/English HoH subtitles, and Arabic DTS-HD MA 5.1 and LPCM 2.0 audio tracks. Quick glance through it, and it looks superb. |

Finished up the movie. Fantastic film. PQ is almost reference quality, but there was some minor aliasing here and there, most notably when the teacher tells the students the prize has increased from 800 to 1000.
Thinking about double dipping and also grabbing the USA release for the commentary and Q&A. |
