I know some people don't care for floating heads on blu-ray covers, but that coverart is badass nevertheless!

I just hope this one doesn't linger at $20+ forever like the first one did. I wanted to see this in theaters but half the ones here weren't showing it.

Such a terrific fun time at the movies but the features are laughable so I WILL NOT support this release.

The first one was a Fox release so the pricing of that film should be absolutely no indicator of the pricing of the sequel.

i LOVED the first Machete film. I like RR films. But this...this...?
this falls prey to the ''sequel'' curse.
Not as good as original, and the 3rd looks even worse.

amongst all the OTT violence and gore, they couldn't get actresses to show boobage - "exploitation"?? hah! (I think not).

I wouldn't be surprised if the 3rd movie is a) not made, or b) made as a 'direct to video' release.

I am afraid I will be wasting my money on this but I will probably buy this on day one, hopefully it will at least give a cheap laugh or two.

Totally titless. Still a fun sequel, but comparatively neutered against the first movie.

I may be alone in this but seeing practically all of Alexa Vega's bum definitely excited me.

Rodriguez should just retire. He's embarrassing himself. The first film was awful and this one even worse. He only makes good flicks when he works with Tarantino.

I actually liked this a lot more than the first one. This one is the first Machete mixed with Austin Powers.
It really is a James Bond spoof this time out and it moves at a ridiculous pace and is just a lot of fun.

What I liked about this film, against the first film, is that this was the wacky violence that the first film should have had to make it in that "Grindhouse" tone. Considering that the first film took a very serious tone dealing with illegal immigration, this took a very sharp left turn. I'll buy it, but at around $15. I only paid $4 for the first film as I got it at Blockbuster. Even if it was the "Rental" version.

The thing with Grindhouse films is that they weren't necessarily wacky. They were down and dirty. Death Proof was a grindhouse film. Planet Terror was a bad looney tunes version of a grindhouse film.

Plus why this film cost near $40 million is beyond me. But I haven't seen it yet.

Mel Gibson
Charlie Sheen
Lady Gaga
Michelle Rodriguez
Vanessa Hudgens
Sofía Vergara
Antonio Banderas
Cuba Gooding Jr.
Jessica Alba
Demian Bichir

plus ''the underrated One'' Danny Trejo himself

an ''A'' cast list like this film should have cost even more !!! it's good money spent !!

It originally struck me as odd how PT is full of bad film print damage while DP, for the most part looks "clean". But I think the 2 films compliment each other that way.

My cable providers have been playing the extended versions of the 2 films back-to-back for a few weeks now and I'm loving it

It's all a matter of tastes... I found Death Proof 30 minutes too long and boring dialogues, one of QT worsts. Look like a B movie with less than a million budget. if it was at least 1/4 as fun and entertaining as another road freak movie like Drive Angry it will have been awesome, but it's not ! it will have been better to call this film ''death to thoses who try to do 70s film without thinking much of what the 70s look like''

as for Planet Terror, it's hilarious, it's dark, gore, very violent and with some strong parody-acting, i dig it a lot more than DP.
