It's a Wonderful Life (Finally bought at $18. Still far too expensive)

On the bright side, I thought I would have a lot more trouble finding decent prices on the Simpsons seasons, but I keep getting lucky. Fox has really been rocking it in the price department.
Little Shop of Horrors was $14.99 this time last year so I jumped on it. Whenever a digibook drops to $15 or less it's best to jump on it. I wasn't planning on getting the Full Metal Jacket digibook, but for $11.99 a couple weeks ago was just too good of a deal. I sold my CA steelbook for nearly $20 so I came out ahead anyway.

Default Are there any blu-ray's that you want to own but never seem to drop in price?

Sigh. This is a great thread idea, get people to complain about prices of blurays. People never do that enough on here.

Iron Man 3: I was disappointed with the movie but I still want to own it.....not for $30 though.
Before Midnight: One of my favorite movies of 2013 but I can't justify spending $25 dollars on an almost bare bones release. When it hits $20, I'm all over this.

I've only managed to get The Incredibles at a decent price from a pre-owned sale during Black Friday sales a few weeks ago.
I've never seen Fantasia, and I really want to, but I'm not going to spend $50 to do so.

Pretty much all of the criterions that I want. I never see them below $20, and I just don't want to blind buy then for that much.

A lot of the Criterion titles can be viewed for free on their Hulu page periodically, and some of them are even available in full on YouTube, albeit with compromised picture quality. Still, it's a great way to check the movies out beforehand if you are unsure about a blind buy. I've also seen quite a few older movie titles by renting them from the local library first.

And if all else fails, you can check them out from a Library.

Yeah, this one has been incredibly resistant to dropping in price.

I got it first day it was released for $60 or $70, but I haven't seen it come down to that low of a price since.

You have vastly over-estimated the quality of my local Library.

I will have to check their Hulu page out though.

You and me both man. I'd place this film in the same category as other "beloved" films including, Wizard of Oz, Casablanca, King Kong, Gone With The Wind...all of those have been available for 10 bucks (or less) It's hard for me to believe that public demand for IAWL is that much different than the other mentioned titles. However, the studios must know their market...right?

I actually kept my dvd version for this. I find that with some movies, you don't want them too clear.

I don't want anymore but Twilight Zone here in Canada is insane -$80+ per season. I finally ended up buying the UK versions of season 2-5 for a fraction of that price. Canada really seems to get the worse of it - the States will get a massive price drop yet our price will stay high.

This one. Wasn't even on sale on release day, except for in-store Walmart and I don't have one in my area. Sucks Disney had to pick up distribution from Paramount, now that means it'll probably never be cheap.
