Trent Reznor has released "The Slip," on nin.com. It's a totally free download for the whole album, and physical versions will be available to purchase in July.

The server is running insanely fast. I couldn't believe it, he's offering high quality mp3, flac, mp4 and wave files to download. I got my mp3 downloaded in like a minute.

Wow is all i have to say, never thought i see the day when a major band released something like this for nothing. This one band i still have yet to see live, i think ill change that this summer if he is coming to the mass area.

Christ i have not seen a live show since primus at the orphium in boston.

He's playing August 8th at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA.

Tickets go on sale May 17th.

Definitely go, I'll be there as I'm moving to Boston on July 15th because of a job opportunity. I saw them 3 times last summer and it never gets old. The performance is incredible, especially with as much as they put into the stage show.

The last time I saw Trent was in 1989 "Pretty Hate Machine" tour in Norfolk Virginia..The Boathouse.At that point in his carrier it was him, a microphone , Keyboards , Drum machine , more keyboards with full stacks from one end of stage to the either .He was a solo act that changed the face of alternative.
His release "The slip" has that same kind of vibe to it were he is at his best.I hope he stays on this course.
Trent needs to screw the band thing and go back to his roots.
I really feel his new art will be very popular in the main stream once again.

Last time I saw NIN, we booed Marilyn Manson off the stage for being a nobody who kept grabbing his crotch and tearing up the bible...

NIN was flawless back then on The Downward Spiral....got out of them for awhile though....but, Ghosts drew me back in...amazing release...great for the ouside speakers when your in the hottub at night.

So how do I get to 'hear' that quality. I was hoping that my PS3 would play the files, but no good. Can I transfer them to a DVD through some program or something?

I got too excited when I saw the PCM tag when I first x-fer'd it over to the PS3...

I know it's a hike, but they usually play Tampa. Supposedly some new tour dates are coming soon, but they're scheduled up til September for now.
