Actor Farooq Shaikh passes away - Blu-ray Forum

Alvida Farooq Shaikh, I am saddened by the news, however death is inevitable. RIP.
His contribution to Bollywood was immense, his movies are still remembered favourites being Chashm-e-buddoor, Umraoo Jaan and Bazaar. Glad he played thatrole in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani as well.

Also loved him in Katha, Kisi se na kehna etc. He was one of the leading lights of the short-lived phase of middle-of-the-road Hindi cinema.

And **** yeah, Peecha Karo, one of the best examples of absolute madcap comedy.
