Bumping a 9+ year old thread in the Blu-ray section but asking a question about a theatrical sequel.

I think Cage went on to make direct to videos movies instead. Sad because I was such a fan.

I noticed that as well, he's reduced to making duds like Outcast and Pay the Ghost.

I don't know about "instead". I'm pretty sure if they made it, he would be on board with it. He'll do anything.

Outcast was bad, but I've always been intrigued with Pay the Ghost. Please warn me not to blind buy if it's that bad. lol

It's now been ten years since the second one. At this point I feel like we'll never see a third National Treasure. It's a shame, because I loved both films and was hoping for at least a third to make a nice little trilogy.

Pay the Ghost was just painfully generic and average, it fails at being memorable.
