This man-versus-nature tale places our heroes in a land full of undiscovered wealth, but ravaged by harsh conditions, unpredictable weather and desperate, dangerous characters including greedy businessmen, seductive courtesans and native tribes witnessing the destruction of their people and land by opportunistic entrepreneurs.

Being a fan of the show Gold Rush, i'm looking forward to seeing this show. The cast list looks pretty impressive for its first outing.

Yeah, this looks pretty damn good. I loved Richard Madden in Game of Thrones, so I can't wait to see what he can do here. I still haven't recovered from the Red Wedding.

I am digging (no pun intended) this mini-series thus far. Hopefully the blu will get announced soon.

same here, Im currently watching the first episode. Probably will finish the next two tonight

Hopefully I can watch this somehow, looks pretty good and Richard Madden is a plus. Unless they re-air it I'll just get the BD release.

They're re-airing it in succession starting Saturday at 9:30AM.

I think Part I bordered on being plain bad, with Part's II/III being noticeable improvements but still far from great television. The real strength of the series was the cast (Madden/Roth/Cornish, mainly) and the wonderful and powerful score. I likely won't ever revisit it, though.
