There's a version with a shirt as well for a little over $10 more, but I just ordered this one for now. Not a bad price really, and definitely wasn't expecting a steelbook for this.

Anyone seen the feature yet? What's the 3D like? I don't mind Metallica, although i'm not exactly a fan either.

I thought it was fine…the cuts from story to performance were a little hap-hazard. Seemed like they just took a 30 min. music video idea and intercut it throughout.

Could've been just as good as a 1.5 hr. concert, without the "story-line."

Anyone know what the chances of this being Region Free are? My player is region free for regular blus but not 3D, so that would pose as an issue, and I'm not exactly ready to get an OPPO just yet lol

Might be locked, Ascot Elite has been rather 50/50 on region locked titles.

Typically I use Firefox, but whenever foreign sites come into play, I use Chrome. It'll translate it and for the most part it does a pretty good job. I've ordered from the German site a number of times now and have never had an issue

That said, still hoping this is region-free, but if not no worries because I plan on getting a region-free Oppo when I get my taxes back this year

if it's not region free I might just try to replace the discs.

That should not have surprised you knowing it was a German release. Glad I held off as I think the UK or France might be getting this also and hopefully they will not have a printed back.

By those pics I guess we can also answer the question of region locking...looks to be region B only (which I expected).

I guess you're right, but there are some German steels that don't do that shit.

Oh well. I might wait for pictures for the Australia release and order that and try to sell the German steel.

It's exactly what it looks like on the in- and outside. Printed on the metal, yes.
