Default Star Trek Continues (Web Series)

Anyone else seen this?

http://www.startrekcontinues.com/

...apparently it's a web series intended to pickup right where TOS left off.

Right now there are only 3 clips at about 3 min each but they were worth watching.

So I finished Enterprise last night, that makes DS9, Voyager, and now Enterprise in the last year. Not sure if TOS or TNG will be next.

Anyway, I think during the original run, I stopped a few episodes into it. I missed out, I really enjoyed the show despite the flaws. It was a shame it got cut short. At a minimum I was invested in Trip and T'Pol, and it was sad the way their story played out in the last 2 episodes.

I thought Scott Bakula did a OK job as Archer, but he seemed too nice for the roll (he was awful in the 2 mirror episodes as a bad guy btw). Phlox was very good as well. I don't think we got enough of Travis and Hoshi. Malcolm was just way too offputting. Not sure if it was the way he was written, or the way Dom Keating played him.

The time table of the show seemed stretching it to me. I think 50 years before TOS would of been more believable given the technology.

The idea around the last episode was not bad, the holodeck stuff would of been fine in a regular season episode. Sad ending and it deserved better.

I think we need Trek back on TV. I'd love to see a series take place about 20 years after Nemesis. Bring together offspring of the various series. A young ensign Jean Luc Riker, Miral Paris, one of the O'Brien kids, tie the 3 TNG era shows together.

Agreed. If that had been a one-off episode in middle of the season, it would've been received a lot better. As a finale to the whole series, it was like a slap in the face to the regular cast.

So I have been going through DS9 for the first time this past week and I just finished season one. So far I'm liking it quite a bit. My favorite episode of season one is Duet. Could anyone suggest a good star trek forum?

This is the best Trek forum on the web IMO: http://www.trekbbs.com . I've been a member there since the late 1990's...lotsa cool folks there and some good discussions.
