The film's success at the British Independent Film Awards is well deserved, though I think that Hanif Kureishi and Jim Broadbent also should have won awards.

The Selfish Giant Blu-ray REVIEW

Very good film, but some North American viewers might have a very difficult following and understanding the dialog without English subtitles.

On the other hand, the film is basically a masterclass in editing. Impressive work
