I'm not getting this title, but it's nice to see Universal including a UV copy. Hopefully that means all of their 2014 catalog titles will include one.

Ive never seen this, buti love Denzel. Can this be compared to anything else? Is it more of a drama or boxing movie?

The boxing is extremely minimal in the movie. Haven't seen it in a few years but if I remember properly, there's only one match. Without spoiling anything, the movie focuses on Denzel's character and the people who he gets in contact with on the outside.

It's definitely more of a drama....but a very good one,it is based on a true story and features a Bob Dylan song about the same story.(great tune)

Hmmm not really ! This film is unique and Denzel A+++ performance + Bob Dylan soundtrack is off the hook ! Plus, awesome directing and supporting cast !!!

When i watch a movie like The Fighter (imo very overrated, not bad but like 3 stars) i clearly see a film like The Hurricane as an even better boxing film than i think it was back in the days !!!

They were playing this recently on HBO or Showtime (forget which), but it looked really nice on cable TV, but since this is Universal I can only hope they refrain themselves for once DNR'ing and EE this title to death for the actual disc release.

My copy has just arrived and although I am no expert it looks good to me,there's certainly plenty of grain so I guess Universal have done without the DNR on this one....like I said I have just flicked through it but I am happy.

Watched this for the first time yesterday. Good movie. Excellent performance by Denzel. I thought the video and audio were solid. I'd suggest a blind buy for those on the fence and its $10 right now.

To Villiam or Bundyblu... Does the disc have just English and French as audio tracks and subtitles? No Spanish?
