In the absence of I Wanna Be Sedated, my vote went to Blitzkrieg Bop

Yeah, keeping it at 1 song per band was tough.

What this list doesn't include Bro Hymn by Pennywise, or in fact any Pennywise at all?

Yeah I kept it down to the 70s/80s bands and left the 90s/00s out. I can do a modern poll and do those next.

I didn't realize how easy it was to complain like everybody did in my thread, but I've got to. No Green Day? To not include Green Day in a greatest punk rock song ever just isn't right. I voted for the ramones then.

I was going to post "No Green Day?" earlier. But, as a joke....

Like I stated before I wanted to keep it to the early years, the pioneers, the classic OGs.

"The Decline of Western Civilization" ? There were some great bands in that Documentary. Fear, Black Flag, X, Circle Jerks, the Germs.

I think Fear - "I Love Living in the City" should be on the poll. As well as Black Flag - "TV Party" instead of "Rise Above" and Misfits - "Last Caress" instead of "Where Eagles Dare".

Nice! They're from Hermosa Beach (as is Jack Black!)...literally a short bike ride down the street from where I grew up. I spent most of my summers in HB...totally beach bumming. Now I've lived inland for a year and every time my aunt sees me she says I look pale.

But I digress! Pennywise =

I also forgot to add Warsaw by Joy Division. Ok so the list could have been a lot longer.
