Zombies. vs. Infected

+++ Zombies are slow
*** Infected are fast

Zombie or Infected death:
+++ Zombies are only killed by destroying the brain.
*** Infected can be brought down by shooting the torso or any other vital body part.

Food:
+++ Zombies do not need food
*** Infected need food or they will starve and die of hunger or thirst

Goal:
+++ Zombies primary motivation seems to be the consumption of their prey
*** Infected are motivated more on the destruction or infection of their prey, with biting being only one method of accomplishing their goal

Status:
+++ Zombies are officially deceased
*** Infected are still living

Infection:
+++ Zombies rarely reanimate in under a few hours after exposure or death.
*** 1 bite and become an Infected in 10-20 seconds.

So, do you like Zombies or Infected more? Which movies you like more? With Zombies or Inefcted? Who is scarier? Harder?

I like Infected more because with Infected it is almost impossible to survive. With zombies you can just walk away from Zombies and survive without any problem.

Infected people get mowed down with ease. Sure there are fun variation on the way the infection works. But there's an atmosphere that comes with zombies, something creepy and unearthly, while infection is more just blunt intensity.

Infection works easier, but zombies done better work better.

Plus are the Zombies in Zombieland count as Zombies? I remember those things being quite fast.

Yeah they were zombies. They walked slowly and in some places run but not dangerous. If those were Infacted who only ran like in 28 days Later, well then those people would be dead already. When i watch Zombie movies then you can feel and see how easily it is to survive. This makes movie kinda meh. Just walk away and survive. With infected you can run and hide but they can still hear, smell and bite you(1 hit and you infected). If there was Zombie Virus in some small down in USA then Nuke would fix this problem but if those were Infected then a whole USA would be infected and no nukes would help because infection spreads more faster. Again, just look at I am Legend or 28 days/weeks later. A whole world can die out while in Zombie break its possible to stop this spread and kill those zombies fast.

Oh boy we have had this discussion many of times. They are the samething in my eyes. U say zombies are slow but the infected are fast. Well that theory is smashed simply by saying The Return of the Living Dead. I cant vote because they are the same in my eyes. Zombies are zombies and a zombie is infected. Got Em!!

Well technically, Zombies are essentially Undead walking the Earth. But nowadays these Zombies have these #blurredlines
