Mondays at 10pm are going to challenging for this show. Competing against The Blacklist, which is the breakout hit of the season and Castle. Somebody's ratings will drop come Monday.

I understand why Revolution moved to Wednesdays. Though Hawaii 5-0 moved to Fridays. I'm hoping it's not Castle's ratings dropping!

I didn't really like the first episode of Intelligence. And it's the kind of show I should like so I'm going to watch a bit more.

This first episode was pretty uninspiring and dumb. While it wasn't unwatchable, I could see a lot of people checking out on the series after the pilot.

It got 16M viewers on Tuesday night. If it somehow manages to retain even half that come Monday, it should last a full season. Honestly, I can't see this bombing like Hostages. It's tailor made for CBS's core audience.

I'm in the middle of the Pilot now...I love Josh Holloway, but I can't help but think of Sawyer when I look at him. He's a great action star though and I give him props for breaking a bit from his more broody Sawyer...but I agree with others with it seeming uninspired as well. Just seems like a dime a dozen script. The fact that a character is such a know it all will get kind of unsympathetic real fast...runs the risk of it at least. Everything has to be so "techy" now, a reflection on the times I know. But I prefer Almost Human over this so far. I will give it another episode though, benefit of the doubt and all.

I saw an episode of this a few months back. It was a sneak peak by one of those CBS feedback places and I fell in love with it instantly. The show is a nice mix of action and drama with some comedy. The writing is also really good as they'll throw in a few twists.

Gabriel is an interesting and really cool character. He's basically James Bond enhanced by Skynet.

Meghan and him play off each well. Reminds me of Mulder and Scully.

Dr. Shenendoah Cassidy is essentially Ducky.

and Lillian is your cliché b*tch for a boss.



What happened in the episode I watched. (If I get some stuff wrong when it broadcasts, its because my memory was off.) Spoilers galore:

[Show spoiler]Two America journalists are kidnapped in the Middle East. They are accused of espionage and threatened to be executed by Syria. (I think it was Syria) Gabriel and Meghan are sent along with a former US President on a mission for peace.

While The President is in talks with the leaders, Gabriel infiltrates the compound to make the rescue in case the talks fail, but when he reaches them (killing a security guard along the way), the female reporter reveals she and her partner are actually a CIA agent and was sent on a cover mission to retrieve a female American scientist who exiled herself there and they won't leave the country unless the scientist is with them.

Gabriel and Meghan track down the scientist and convince her and her daughter to leave with them. Unfortunately, the body of the dead security guard is found and sh** hits the fan. During the prisoner transfer, Gabriel manages to rescue the female agent (the male died from his torture injuries) and they all take off in the President's jet just in time as military forces arrive at the airport.

During the plane ride, it turns out the true mission of the agent was to kill the scientist as her knowledge is too dangerous for the CIA to allow her to live, but her assassination is thwarted just in time by Gabriel and Meghan.

Lillian b*tches at the CIA director afterwards for the unauthorized hit attempt.

Oh yeah and John Malkovich was in this. He was the Secretary Of Defense or something.

I haven't gotten in a television show like this since True Blood.

Only caught the end of the second episode but so far I enjoy this show so far, hopefully I remember to tune in next week and catch the third one.

In it's regular time slot debut Intelligence was a massive flop, drawing a 1.1 rating. It was by far the lowest-rated non-CW show of the night. With ratings like that it might not make it to the end of the month.

OUCH, really...what did CBS expect, putting a new show like this against a giant like the Blacklist and Castle...stupid decision on CBS part.

Exactly, this show could have OWNED another timeslot/day, I will never understand how these networks operate. It is a good show, I hope they do us the favor of moving days soon before it is too late.

everyone knew it was going to drop but a drop this big is like going to get it canceled before the next episode

So what do you put in the time slot then? Something has to go there.

They could try to move Hawaii Five-O back there, but I think it's doing well on Friday nights and would get hammered against Castle and The Blacklist.

Thats the problem, Blacklist dominate that slot right now, whatever they put there for the time being is going to get hammered...

It's the nature of the beast. Not every expensive well produced drama will do well in highly competitive timeslots. Some show has to lose.

NBC is probably happy that they finally broke their death slot curse. CBS dominated this timeslot for years.

I know, but its a shame really...I just saw the last episode and it was really good.i hope CBS stick with it

I agree, thought it was very well done. Would be a shame if this one got the axe!

For a show about a man with a computer chip augmented brain----I think this show is pretty brain dead. I'll watch two more episodes, just to let it stretch its legs a bit. But I'm not optimistic.

I am finally finding some time to try the show, and even though it's "ok" so far (2 eps in), the script is borderline stupid at times, and the acting is very stiff/ by the numbers.

Hope it gets better, I like the premisce of the show even if it is pretty close to Person of Interest in some ways (which is probably why CBS got the show in the first place).

Don't know if anyone is still looking at this but next Monday is the season finale, I am not sure if its been renewed or not..show turned out ok, weekly who done it with an overlaying storyline.

There's no chance of this being renewed. For CBS it's ratings are pretty bad. If this was on another network like NBC it would most likely get renewed.

I've enjoyed it but the last few episodes before last week's very good episode were pretty bad. Hopefully the finale tomorrow doesn't end on a cliffhanger.
