Blu-ray Grand Duke

![]() Ugh, this looks so pants and flimsy and cheap. It doesn't even make sense, why does the boyfriend get the phone messages for her, how can the police so easily assume she's planning on stealing cars, why won't they help her. I know it's comedy (pretty unfunny one as well) but none of this makes sense. And I usually like Elizabeth Banks, but this seems like the sort of film Katherine Heigl reduced herself to. ![]() |

Maybe she's on the Matthew McConaughey plan. Slum through stupid comedies for a few years to collect easy paychecks, then when you make an effort to act in something serious, people will be more impressed than they should.
Has any director who has directed two or more Adam Sandler "comedies" ever made anything good? |

It all makes sense to me, but yeah, I still want better things for Elizabeth Banks. This doesn't look terrible, just pretty run-of-the-mill. |
