Thumbs down The Director of Little Nicky forces you to do the 'WALK OF SHAME'

Ugh, this looks so pants and flimsy and cheap. It doesn't even make sense, why does the boyfriend get the phone messages for her, how can the police so easily assume she's planning on stealing cars, why won't they help her. I know it's comedy (pretty unfunny one as well) but none of this makes sense.

And I usually like Elizabeth Banks, but this seems like the sort of film Katherine Heigl reduced herself to.

Maybe she's on the Matthew McConaughey plan. Slum through stupid comedies for a few years to collect easy paychecks, then when you make an effort to act in something serious, people will be more impressed than they should.

Has any director who has directed two or more Adam Sandler "comedies" ever made anything good?

Poor Elizabeth Banks...she deserves so much better. Gorgeous, talented and funny.

She's calling her voice mail number from his phone to check her messages because she's obviously misplaced her phone already. The police are accusing her of "solicitation" (approaching cars to offer prostitution services) rather than theft and they're assuming that because of her dress and level of drunkeness. As to why they won't help her, well, because the script needs things to be difficult for her to keep the movie going and she probably doesn't make a good impression on them.

It all makes sense to me, but yeah, I still want better things for Elizabeth Banks. This doesn't look terrible, just pretty run-of-the-mill.

Looks like something my 16 y o daughter and her boyfriend would watch about 15-20 times.

So, basically the same high-school misogyny we'd get out of a Dennis Dugan/Steven Brill Adam Sandler movie, even if Sandler was in it, then?

I want to see it. Apparently it's opening limited though? Really like Elizabeth Banks. Should be entertaining.
