Correct release date for Cloverfield and There Will be Blood??? - Blu-ray Forum

I pre-ordered this from Amazon and they claim its releasing on May 20th. But blu-ray.com claims the release date is June 3rd. Which is it?

I'm thinking June 3rd because that is what most sites are saying, but I too have seen the May 20th ads.

I'm buying this brick and morter style, so I would find it a pleasant surprise if it was a week early.

Not impressed.

The Paramount press release says June 3rd, so that's what I'm going by.

Yeah...this is definititely a black or White movie in that people either totally mark out for it or they completely hate it.

I've never met someone who just thought it was okay.

I'm trying to think of other movies like that...maybe Dark City???

Not too sure right now, but that would be a cool topic.

i do. i said it in post earlier that i liked it but didn't love it.....i got hooked into the characters and story...but the monster was dissapointing....The hand held camera was so bad at the start, any of us can shoot better then that....i don't mind hand held camera's at all....it was fun and a good thriller, but it wasn't great thats for sure...would i buy it on blu-ray not sure.....i think i would like to hear from people once its out about the pq and special features and so on...Want to see a really good monster movie that not alot of people have seen The host..check it out..its soo fun

This site shows that Cloverfield and There will be blood are coming out on 6/3 but on another site it shows it coming out two weeks earlier on 5/20... And they wont stop until May 20th and these movies arent on shelves. It was ANNOUNCED to be on June 3rd. Maybe some dumb workers will put them out though

i wouldn't be surprised if some stores get confused and put them out on the 20th. that is unless paramount doesn't ship them to retail stores until after the 20th

umm, thats possible too. But actually its usually shipped (at least to Walmart) 2 and a half weeks early. But if workers think theyve seen May 20th and see those titles, they may put them out.
