They're based in US - they were customs friendly when I last used them.
They're ok, but they don't have a big selection and they don't show stock levels, meaning you could be waiting weeks for something to dispatch. Otherwise, they're solid. |

Pretty much everything charnier has said.
Always been customs friendly and delivery time usually been 5-7 days from despatch although they used to have a few titles that they guaranteed next day delivery but not sure if they still do as haven't used them for best part of 5 or 6 months.Used them when I had a bit of surplus PayPal available as knew they accepted this method of payment. |

I used to use them all the time but delivery times started to take 2+ weeks so I switched to AxelMusic and when the pyramid went bust in 2012 I switched to DVDWorldUSA and have stayed with them ever since, even with the constant Movietyme discount vouchers they send me it's still cheaper to purchase from DVDWorldUSA plus with them I know delivery can be as little as 3 days.

Movietyme are reliable, customs friendly and ship before release date, taking anywhere from 5-10 days to reach the UK. The only thing I don't like about them is that the prices are a little steep (though I don't think DVDWorldUSA are much cheaper, if at all) and that if you cancel an order, they will only give you store credit, not a refund.

Have found they have fair prices for some of the niche studios whom Amazon don't tend to discount. With Hollywood stuff they are a massive premium but they do shop very early so you usually have them before official release date provided obviously you pre ordered. For the Hollywood studios Amazon must sell as loss leaders plus get massive volume discounts.
As they keep very little stock anything back catalogue is sourced to order so as said above can be a long wait. Plus they debit your card on order for already released titles, which also includes pre orders they have started to ship. I use them with their discount vouchers for unusual stuff over customs limit. |
