Could Thir13en Ghosts damage my TV? - Blu-ray Forum

For those of you who have not seen Thir13en Ghosts, it's one of the biggest budgeted horror movies I've ever seen (and quite possibly the scariest too). But it has something extremely bright and loud flash up almost every ten seconds, and I just think that it's possible it could damage your TV in some way. I can't be 100% sure, but If you have not yet seen Thir13en Ghosts on Blu-ray, you might want to bear that in mind.

Ive watched it several times on blu ray, and so has my friend, and nothing has ever happened.

maybe the backlight is too high? should be set at 4/10 usually

well!! you heard wrong......she does come out of your tv and in process damage it, that is why you need that extended warranty.

its fun pop corn movie but the ghosts are pretty hit and miss some are quite disturbing and scary and others are just eh... ok?

"Damage your TV" as in tire out the pixels, possibly kill some of them. It's happened to me before.

this movie isn't that bad of a horror movie. the makeup and special effects were pretty cool.

didn't know it was on blu. might have to get this when really cheap.

its out in the UK and oz i don't think its gotten a US release yet (both the uk and oz release are region free)
