From what I understand, and I could be wrong and I wish I could provide a link, even though he becomes Two Face in the movie, he evidently doesn't have much of a role as a malevolent character in this movie. Supposedly it will be sort of like the end of Batman Begins, when they mention the man who calls himself "The Joker".

I was watching the lookout this weekend and it dawned on me how much that kid looks like Heath Ledger. I think his name is Joseph Gordon-Levitt, just an observation .....
What if they did wanna continue with the joker in Batamn 3?

I'm not quite sure where I heard it (but no doubt there's someone out here that will be able to provide the link), but rumor has it that the director doesn't want to bring in anyone else to play the part of Joker. He simply won't return in any future movies.

Now, this being Hollywood we're talking about, I find this highly unlikely, but that is what I recall reading somewhere out here... Again, someone else can provide the link or clarify...

I recall this as JUST concept art, in that they took a photo of him, and rendered the Two-Face scarring over him (which this kind of looks like). It is claimed that this is not the full CGI completion, and this may not even be the makeup for it. If you really look, it looks like they just drew a concept art over a picture of Harvey Dent, at least I think so

But as a plus, that means that the final version will be at least as badass as this photo,
