Is Thor (first movie) gone out of print?

I was looking for some other movie and saw Thor Blu-Ray on Amazon for $38, had to do a double take on that price. First I thought it might be some super exclusive limited edition, but nope, just your regular Blu-ray.

I presume that it has gone out of print, but would think would be re-released when the second movie is released later this month.

It was re-released by Disney late last year. It's not OOP, and it's currently $30 on Amazon

It was acquired by Disney, its currently selling on Amazon for $29.99. You might be looking at the older Paramount version.

Thanks for the quick responses. Yep, didn't see the other version. Still $30 seems high to me, will wait till it's on some $5 sale

Then you gotta try your local pawn shops and thrift stores.
Greedy-a$$ Disney won't let you have it for $5.

It's distributed by Disney now, it's very unlikely to ever get that low. Honestly, you'll be lucky to find it for $10, outside of doing a Disney Movie Club enrollment.
