Casino Royale (2006)
The Aus Blu-ray contains the unrated cut. The opening fight scene in the bathroom is slightly longer as is the staircase fight later in the film. Both scenes benefit from the slightly longer edit. Also, the audio is LCPM 5.1, which, to my ears, sounds slightly more robust than the Dolby True HD of the collector's edition. It's the first Blu-ray I ever bought! https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Casin...-Blu-ray/4867/ |

![]() I've had the Australian release for years and at the time of its release, it was the best overall (extras/remastering) version available as I recall. I think the US remastered version came out just after it, but had no extras. Then the German release appeared a while later which was pretty similar to the Oz version. Anyway, how time has passed me by... ![]() And yes, the Oz release of The Descent is a little beauty! Last edited by rip63; 02-06-2014 at 10:20 PM. |
