Up was released in the UK first, so maybe a fall release like Cars 1, Nemo, and Up.

That would be good to see, yes. Here's hoping, though I wonder how sales were with Little Mermaid 3D?

woohoo - 3 whole dollars ...

I'm gonna wait and see if maybe Pixar will do a remix of the sound to 7.1 for the 3D (US) release (like they had done with the Monsters Inc. 3D blu)

Going of the two weeks tracking on The Numbers (US Numbers), and Home Media Magazine's 3D percentage.

Week #1 = 623.338 (9% 3D BD - 56,000)
Week #2 = 249,109 (7% 3D BD - 17,437)

Considering it fell out of the 10 ten in sales (overall sales, not BD top 10, it was there for 9 weeks) after that, and never had more that 6% of sales coming from 3D sales (Probably ended up averaging 2-3% of overall sales after the first three weeks), I would guess Little Mermaid sold about 1.0 or 1.1 million BD units, with about 100,000 to 125,000 max of the 3D BD sku.

Obviously this doesn't factor in WW sales, but maybe double it at best?

Awesome news!

I have been holding off on upgrading my DVD set for Blu in the hopes that a 3-D treatment would be forthcoming. Love this movie.

As far as I know, all of the fake conversions have come from the company Bit Wel. Looking at details here on the site, Disney's releasing partner in Taiwan is Deltamac Co. Ltd. and that is who is listed as offering Incredibles 3D, so hopefully this will prove to be a legitimate 3D release.

Pixar had announced they would be re-rendering all their films in 3D when they were re-cataloguing them, so it's very likely to be Pixar's re-render, not a fake conversion job.

We all know the assets are there, but it seems odd to me that Taiwan (of all countries in Asia) is the first to release this. I sure hope you are right.

Anyone remember the onslaught of 3D Pixar steelbooks that were listed in Germany a few years back, that later turned out to be 2D blus?

Wow, the Taiwan version! I hope it's REAL!

(Now, if it was any other country, I'd be spinning theories of Pixar rendering one more catalog 3D, to fill in their void this year and give Disney something to accompany a later Frozen 3D dip...
But they lost me at "YesAsia".)

I think Incedibles may be the one Pixar title best suited for 3D re-rendering. Already when watching it on DVD in the good ... errr .... bad old days I thought it pretty much screams for 3D.

I'm not getting my hopes up this is one is legit, though. With release only a month away, I'm pretty sure it would have been announced elsewhere if it was the real deal.

I've never had a problem with yesasia. I ordered this, so I will let everyone know if it is real or not when I receive it. I will then sell it if a US copy is announced. But I would love to see this in 3D as soon as possible.
