Default Does anybody have orange broadband?

If you have it working with the PS3, is it ok using it wirelessly? or do you use it with an ethernet cable? I allready have my psp running wirelessly on my orange livebox, but i will be getting a PS3 soon and i will be using the internet on the ps3 wirelessly.
thanks!

Hi,

I recommend to use an ethernet cable if it is possible (I mean if the PS3 and the router are close together or anything), its always more relyable than using WiFi or anything else.

I have a WiFi router at home, but I am connecting my PS3 to it by ethernet cable, as I dont care, they stend one to each other.

But in general, PS3 can be used with any internet access if connected through the router...

have fun

I have my PS3 connected wi-fi. Not had any real problems with the wi-fi itself. OTOH, Comcast broadband connection to home is a whole another issue.

Bottom line: if you have placed the router at a reasonable distance, the PS3 will work fine. The bottleneck is not the wi-fi connectivity - but the pipeline in and out of your house.

Rup.
