Default BD Interuptus...

What BD movie did you buy blind... started watching and ended up turning it off because it just sucked?

I [unfortunately] watched The Shining the whole way through, but if I hadn't been as eager to see it as I was, I probably would've turned it off not all that long after I put it in the PS3.

I turned off both Casino Royale and RE:Extinction not exactly because they sucked, they were just too boring to sit through IMO.

What movies DID you make it all the way thru?

Alexander is the only one that comes to mind. There was a lotta crap in that piece of garbage that should have been Interruptus, starting with the filming.

Wow! I couldn't imagine turning Casino Royale off in the middle, even if I had seen it before

Every other BD that I've seen and own.

Movies like Casino Royale just aren't my thing. At all. I just literally cannot sit through them. I only bought it to see what Blu-ray could offer. It's not that I consider it absolutely pathetic trash that I'd rather spit on than watch like Epic Movie and Freddy Got Fingered, movies like CR just don't interest me (I still respect them as movies). And I gave up watching Extinction, but I did finish it a few days later.

So you are pretty much hurting until the Freddy and FT13th movies come out. Freddy Got Fingered?

Basically, although I love heaps and heaps of films, except they aren't really popular enough to be released on Blu. I would marry Kill Bill on Blu-ray though.

Freddy Got Fingered?
Yeah, it's worse than rotting cow faeces. But it is not as bad as Epic Movie. If you take out all the random, plotless, meaningless, and painfully disturbing scenes of Tom Green licking his friend's bone sticking out of his leg, randomly getting out of his car and squeezing a horses penis, ripping a baby out of it's mothers womb and swinging it around by its umbilical chord, whacking a paraplegic in the legs among others, then Freddy Got Fingered is actually surprisingly coherent to a storyline which is the polar opposite of Epic Movie.

Epic Movie's supposed "jokes" are nowhere near as disgusting or horrific, but they are equally as horrific to watch.

I just took you off my buddy list...

Kidding. I grew up with these guys in my teens, and want to watch them again very much, but will not buy the DVDs. Must have them on Blu damnit!!!

Unlike Epic Movie, there was actually one scene that made me laugh in FGF.

...I can't remember which one, so I'll have to get back to you on that, but there definitely was one.

Yeah, it tends to do that. Didn't you read the side effects on the back of the case?

I had the same reaction with Romero's 70's Dawn and Day of the Dead.

Default BD Interuptus...

I have blind bought a few of the BDs I own and thankfully I have enjoyed them all. I'd hate to have wasted $40 AUD on one and ended up not liking it.

I couldn't sit through Apocalypto. I fast forwarded through it before I sold it to see if there really wasn't anything that's not to be missed. There wasn't (for me).

Then you missed all the breasts, nipples and butt cheeks?

That is so odd, by the time I stopped watching it I could only remember seeing one or two breast or nipple shots.

I actually saw and sat though Freddy Got Fingered in the theaters. What can I say? It was a grad activity and all my friends saw it so I joined them. It was the worst movie I have ever seen.
