Yes, this is the Blu-ray section. The Wonder Years is slated to be released on DVD, not Blu.

Good, if the DVD sells well enough. But too many people will refuse to buy the DVD because a BD might come in the future, which will kill a potential BD release.

People will complain about this just like they did with Mama's Family's complete series. Time Life said all the episodes were uncut, and when they were shipped out fans learned Time Life lied about every episode being uncut, and blamed it on Vicki Lawrence.

Blu-ray might be a long shot.
However, I do think it's very possible this series could be available to download in HD via any of the popular streaming services within a few years.
One thing I loathe about the 80's and 90's TV series, or made for TV movies, is they are almost all documented at 4:3 OAR, but we really don't know if it's true, because 99% of the time they were shot on 35mm film.
Some of the excitement in the X-Files blu-ray wishlist thread has to do with the revelation that there is a widescreen presentation in HD being broadcast for some of the earliest seasons of the X-Files, which were originally only known to be 4:3. So, I still hold out hope for classic shows like the Wonder Years, My So Called Life, and some others that are really deserving of a widescreen HD presentation.

For those of you who don't yet know, Fabulous Films in the UK has released a set with 100% of the original music (except they accidentally left the Netflix intro music on one Season 2 episode). If you haven't bought yet, buy that one instead! Video is 24fps/NTSC and all the special features are carried over. The US set has no benefits in any way.

They've also been quoted to say that a Blu-ray release is possible if sales are good enough!

It has performed as expected in this climate, it is not cheap, as it cost a fortune to license and a fortune to clear and produce. It is great value and a brilliant gift, packed with 23 hours of bonus features and it should perform well over christmas. If it ends up doing well it could end up on Blu-ray, there are no plans in the US or UK for the foreseeable future though.
