Default Shirley Temple on Blu ray?

What films in which Shirley Temple played a major role are on Blu ray? Any idea if there are any of her movies coming down the pike anytime soon? I'd love for their to be a DVD like collection of her movies, but on Blu ray. She just passed away. For the role she played in making Americans smile at one of the lowest points in their history, she deserves to have good Blu ray releases that will get people interested in her movies all over again.

I couldn't agree more, just don't release colorized versions like they are doing with the standard dvds.

Last year, during Fox Classics' "Vote Your Choice" campaign, we could have voted on "Heidi" and "The Blue Bird", but...not enough people did.

I'd buy a Shirley blu set on day 1, course the sets needs the full restoration, to be honest, I thought some of her films would've been upgraded to blu by now, but hopefuly we'll see a Blu collection of her films with loads of bonuses

I'll bet if they put out a poll now there would be a vastly higher tally for! I never saw a previous poll but count me in. The don't make movies like that anymore. These days they have the kids smarter than the children and have the children acting like they run things.

Indeed she will be missed, yesterday I found a vhs tape of Child Star: The Shirley Temple Story, it was pretty good, sadly I'm not familiar with her Hollywood history except her presenting Walt his Special Achievement (for Snow White), havin a string of hits and workin with Bill Bojangles Robinson

Here's the biography film I'm speakin of

Poor Little Rich Girl hasn't even been released on DVD in region 1/A..and the UK release was colorized. I wish someone would release that particular one on Blu-ray so that I can complete my collection.

Very sad that she is gone. What's more sad than anything is... Watch and see, Her movies will be released on BD because she died. Her movies should've already been on BD by now. Idiot companies...

At least we can see the 19-year-old Shirley Temple on Blu-ray in FORT APACHE in a decent supporting role (opposite real-life husband at the time John Agar). It's also one of the best John Ford/John Wayne films and 127 minutes of great all-around entertainment. Her child star roles are cute and often lots of fun, but I really wish she'd continued making films for at least another decade or two before retiring.

I'm very surprised that none of her 20th Century Fox films have been released to Blu-Ray. I'd be happy with just nice HD versions, even if they just had standard mono audio and no features. Most of her titles are on DVD (an 18 disc set of 18 films is on sale on Amazon for $30 right now), as are her early shorts and selected color episodes of her TV show. (The latter, aside from putting all episodes on a few discs, would not be worth a Blu-Ray release, as the limited resolution already shows on the DVD releases.)
