The biggest negative IMO is how there's no IR for universal remotes, but now they have that add-on that makes it compatible.

people are so desperate (MS) to bring the ps3 down and slow its sales, you aint seen nothing yet. just wait till the 80gig comes back out in june, everybody wants that one. audiophiles,videophiles ( just check out avs, they cant wait to get super audio cd back) new ps3 owners,and mgs4 fans. I predict MS will be crying the week after june 12th.

True audiophiles will steer away from it and gravitate to the Denon units (or the marantz or Pioneer Elite untis). Its just part of the territory and the audiophile mystique. Can you imagine naming Krell, Vincent, Pass, Thiel, JM Lab Grand Utopia, and then naming PS3 as a major source piece? Not a chance...

Well, if your heater ever broke in your home, the family can huddle around the PS3 heat port and stay very warm.
Can't do that with a stand alone player.
