Default V for Vendetta Canadian Delay!

I was just searching through the Canadian sites for Future Shop, Best Buy and Amazon and found that V for Vendetta is not released here until May 27th! I'm getting fed up with Canadian releases, first no Orphanage now this! Looks like I will be ordering from Amazon.com, and hoping they deliver fast.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, I did a search and nothing came up.

I've held off watching it since I heard it was coming to Blu, and now I have to wait another week! Give me one reason, just ONE logical reason for this absurdity!

I think the pictures great, it's just a stupid shirt. They should turn the hat so it coincides with the beard though.

Try to find Dogma in Canada...

At least V is coming!

Anyway, in the end I'll use Amazon.com to get the release that don't make it here...

You seriously would buy Blu-ray movies in Canada? I think my collection of 110+ has about 4 or 5 bought in Canada - almost all the rest from amazon.com.

Best Buy are listing it for $25.99 and Future Shop have it for $24.99 after $2.00 instant saving's which might be an online exclusive deal.

I was going to wait for the 27th, but now that amazon have Blade Runner for $19.99 again I might have to order both.

I find Canadian Blu Ray prices pretty reasonable and sometimes Future Shop have better prices then Amazon.com. Particularly on Fox titles, a lot of Fox blu's are cheaper in Canada.

24.99 + taxes = $28.24 (Ontario at least)

V For Vendetta is $18.95 from amazon.com (if you had pre-ordered it a few weeks ago) + no taxes. Even a single order of this movie with the $8 total shipping on the 1st item is cheaper than buying it locally at FS or Best Buy. If you order a 2nd movie then the shipping is down to $5.50 per item and it's an even better deal.

On a few fox titles they are a few dollars cheaper yes. Almost everything else is a lot cheaper from Amazon. Most catalog titles are $19.99 there and $27 and up here. Most new releases are $27.95 or $23.95 from amazon but typically $33 and up here.
