I thought this would go quickly, luckily I got my order in at the last minute.

If zavvi had a rule of 2 max per customer we wouldn't have this problem.

When did it sell out? Last I looked it wasn't even for sale yet. Or perhaps it was sold out before I saw it.

Either way its a bit silly. Hopefully there will be other times I can get an order in.

It went on sale Saturday evening around 5:30pm but was sold out by around 9pm.

The problem is with Zavvi advertising it as Ultra Limited with only 2k edition size it encourages everyone to dive in and pre-order even if only vaguely interested in title to secure a copy. Clever marketing on their part as many of the 4k standard Limited Editions still have copies for sale.

Is also a magnet for ebay scalpers to dive in although someone posted that Zavvi now cancel all orders for 5 or more copies. Is why Mary Poppins Steelbook also sold out virtually immediately but then returned to sale as bulk orders were cancelled. It then took a week I think to sell the 4k copies.

Was expected to sell out fast as this is a fantastic sci-fi film

You will have to keep eye out for customer cancellations and declined credit and debit cards near release day

There's always the US release. Isn't this one region free? Outside of the lack of inside artwork, I think the US one looks better (of course, your opinion my vary).

Ah the joys of being in the western US. I knew it would come back but at 2AM Monday morning? Wasn't much hope for me on that one.

I think zavvi only allows orders up to a quantity of five per item.
