Default Who actually watches the extras?

For me personally, I'd rather just have the feature. Very seldom have I checked them out even on the best movies. Who knows maybe the studio could knock a couple bucks off.

I tend to watch them once, but that is usually it, I don't go back again. I like the current trend to release a one-disc and two-disc version. that gives everyone the option of chosing extras or not.

I rarely listen to the commentary tracks, in fact I have only ever listened to about two of them since I started buying DVD's way back.

The extra's I never watch/use are anything game related or Internet interacivity.

What I do like is the original trailer.

Only if I like the movie. If I only enjoy the movie, I'm not going to really be that interested in watching a lower-quality 780p featurette about it.

without the extras on the disc it just feels boring i want at least trailers, deleted scenes or maybe even like bloopers but if it was just the movie by itself i just think im not getting my money's worth out of it. i dont need stuff like Pip or commentary or even making the movie but if it had like an interactive game that would be cool

Get rid of the games and downloadable crap. Put it all on the disc.

But give me a ton of extras. I watch em. If they affect the quality, put em on a 2nd disc.

No. If you've seen one "making of" video you've seen them all. I listened to one audio commentary and didn't even make it through the whole thing. It's just boring. I used to buy all the super special edition DVDs and then I realized I never watched the extra stuff and so then I started buying the cheaper editions with fewer extras. It was just a waste of money.

Funny how we have one thread where people are complaining about no extras and then this thread where pretty much everyone has responded they don't watch them.

Ya'll gonna hate me for this one, but the only extras I have watched are on my TRansformers HD-DVD. I just had to watch that one.

The only extras that I've watched have been for the Lord of the Rings triology Extended Editions. So unless its groundbreaking stuff, I will not watch it nor will I care.

I'll watch any bloopers and trailers on the disc, and occassionally will watch the making of the movie, but as far as PIP and online activities, I will never use them.
