Have put in a pre-order for Jurassic Park, - assuming it'll be the same design as the Reel Heroes slips (which the others were) I quite like it -



EDIT - and I've just cancelled it, which was a quick change of heart. I've got way too many copies of JP already, spending £13 just for packaging is silly. Plus I looked at the first wave and I don't like the silver boarders around the steel.

I knew it was going to happen! Greatest news ever Akijama!!! These Reel Heroes steelbooks, are about the best, most consistant, thing Universal has ever done with their catalog.
So glad I imported all the foreign editions, that probably won't get this Reel Heroes treatment in the US:

These can be pretty cool looking, but I don't think they look right unless they're comic book based movies. I'd rather they use the films original art from promo. marketing, etc.

Seeing as the US has not gotten any of the previous RH releases as slips, but only steelbooks, and those steelbooks sold quite well, I'm pretty certain they will be the next wave of Universal Reel Heroes steelbooks.

They all have been slips in the UK(and possibly other regions). I think a few have appeared as steelbooks in Denmark/Norway.

I'm assuming these won't be sold only on Amazon? They should be a wide release? Wal-Mart had the first wave, but I can't recall if that was exclusive to them for a few months?
