Well, my first complaint is that they release crappy movies on Blu-Ray while there are still many greats yet to be delivered.

my only complaints are some extras appear as SD and not HD and it doesnt even upscale. and also when sometimes they cut off previous extras from the dvd release and just put the movie on a 25gb disc but then when they use a 50gb disc they dont even use its full potential sometimes. crappy transfers is a no no even though i dont mind film grain but i still want a good picture and audio quality. and no lossy audio please

Studios and compression houses that think bitrates in the mid 20s give PQ that's "good enough."

this will never be a color case sucks thread

blu-ray cases rock and glue residue is due to not getting the sticker off fast enough or just use Goo Gone

I wish Warner would quit using DNR on their releases. Twister looked a little to soft for my tastes. Sure the audio was excellent, glad to see them using lossless audio for a change. I don't care if they use VC-1 for the video, but quit using DNR! The Assassination Of Jesse James looked like crap.

I have some that help me sleep, but they usually entertain and not much else. That sucks, I wish they could do more. Like play with me in the backyard or something.

Reduce the price of the players and software so Joe can be more influenced to purchase and start enjoying movies they like in hi-def.

The blue color of the cases suck, the goo on the cases suck, the security sticker inside the case sucks, the PQ and SQ of blu-ray sucks, grain especiallly sucks (can't lump it in with PQ since it deserves its own category), grain being eliminated by DNR sucks, the extras/special features suck, interactivity of blu-ray sucks, the movie selection especially sucks, the movies of course suck, the B&M stores suck, the B&M customer service sucks, the online retailers suck, the region codes suck, different availability in different countries sucks, standalones suck, the PS3 sucks, releases being delayed sucks, the studios suck (especially Fox), not releasing the movie "I WANT RIGHT NOW" sucks, finding it early in some places and not others sucks, copy-protection sucks, PC software for playback sucks, buying lots of movies sucks, buying a few movies sucks, reviews suck, the reviewers suck, LCDs suck, plasmas suck, CRTs of course suck, duplicate threads suck, this thread sucks, all the *other* threads suck, the economy sucks, not being able to discuss politics and religion sucks, the US sucks, the rest of the world sucks, and the prices for movies, players, recorders, blank-media and gas, of course, really, really suck.

Think that covers the majority of the threads...

In case it's not obvious, I'm being sarcastic.

Edit: Can't believe I didn't mention coffee-book cases, any non-standard case and cover images being slightly crooked.

Edit 2: Oh, by the way, what is the official Live BD or Rant Hard (HD Rant Thread Part 4) for? Is that where we post positive info?

I want all Blu-ray releases to be day and date with their std. definition counterpart. Also, for the $10-15 Blu-ray premium, Blu-ray discs should have ALL of the special features contained on the 2-disc/3-disc std. definition version, in 1080p if possible.

And have some special edition Blu's with steel cases. That's the end of my rant.

You also forgot that Blu sucks because they didn't release porn right away on the format, and Blu sucks because they release porn on the format now.

only major complaint i have for this wonderful thread is that the prices suck... it'll be a cold day in hell before i spend 30+ for a movie ever again.. it if wasn't for BOGO's and the 7 free movies i got w/ my ps3 purchase i probably would not own a single blu ray...
and V for Vendetta really sucks since this is the place to vent.. F*c&

that pile of shit movie.. my God.
