Default PS3 Settings for upconversion?
i have a samsung 46inch lcd and what settings do i put the ps3 on to upconvert? full screen, double or normal?

Just so you know, upconversion is only available through hdmi with the ps3.

HDMI for movies, Component will work for games.

Sorry about the half-answers Blu, but the PS3 will automatically upconvert the DVD (to 1080p) so long as it is connected via HDMI - With Component cables it will only output 1080i.

I leave mine on Normal. It's really a preference on how you want to view the movie. There's no special setting other than you can put in the block settings and mosquito settings to try and smooth out the picture if it appears rough.

I leave mine on Normal as well. Seems to do a good job of upconverting in my opinion..
