Default What CDs have you been listening to lately?

Sure we all love movies but what about music? I'm actually into music a lot more than I am into movies and TV.

Here's a few faves of mine at the moment:

- The Cardigans: Super Extra Gravity
- Depeche Mode: Playing The Angel
- Hooverphonic: No More Sweet Music
- Maria Mena: Apparently Unaffected
- Nada Surf: The Weight Is A Gift

Yeah quite at the moment As you probably noticed... But I'm not a freak of whatever.

Don't you all think that Blu-ray will be unbelievable for l.p.s to be released in 5.1, 2.0, and extra bonus stuff such as the short promotional films, new and old inteviews, making of's, recording of's, demos, outtakes, instrumentals, accapelas, unreleased songs, and whatever else related to the l.p. and artist? How soon do you all think the industry will start doing this for as many releases as possible?

All the Children of Bodom albums:
"Something Wild," "Hatebreeder", "Follow the Reaper", "Hatecrew Deathroll," and "Are You Dead Yet?"

Besides those, I just started listening to Dream Theater and I've got "When Dream and Day Unite" and "Octavarium." I've heard that "Train of Thought" is a good album, so I'll probably get that as well.

Of course, I'll never stop listening to Metallica, who are supposed to redeem themselves with a new album in early 2007.

This is a great question. My tastes are very diverse. Beastie Boys, Coldplay, Radiohead, From Autumn to Ashes, Thrice, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Chemical Brothers, Interpol, Howie Day, Depeche Mode...

My most recent purchase is new favorite. The band is called Institute. Gavin Rossdale on vocals, 2 former members of Helmet on guitar and bass and a local drummer from Brooklyn. Their song "Bullet Proof Skin" was featured in Stealth. The movie was average, but the song is great. Their cd is great and worth checking out by everyone...if you haven't already done so.

Should we all pm you before we post? Hahaha your knowledge is based off of simple google searches. I've read your posts, you are one of the special ones around here.

You're right. It's not like there are relevant threads in the music forum that aren't seven years old.
