Default Any other Canadians annoyed at Amazon.ca?

I am having a hard time understanding this. A month ago after Canadian prices were STILL inflated I thought " Alright, the prices will drop soon." But here we are, still with on-par dollars paying about $10 more PER Blu when compared with Amazon.com! Does anyone know if Amazon.ca is planning a price change that would actually reflect current costs? I know we have this situation with many other businesses here in Canada... but it's starting to drive me NUTS!

It depends on what movie your looking for, Blade Runner is $30+ on .ca and $20 on .com, while V for Vendetta is only $2 more on .ca, and with the potential for free shipping it could be cheaper. sigelectronics.com is an amazing Canadian Blu Ray seller which has the similar if not lower prices then amazon on most Blu's.

P.S. They have an amazing deal this weekend, if you don't already know.

This hasn't bothered me for six months; about the same time I stopped using them and went Amazon.com exclusive. There is no looking back until they wake up. If you bundle your blu purchases, it is still much cheaper buying from the US - and no customs fees! Besides, this way you also don't have to worry about the inevitable Canadian release delays. The final benefit is that the cover art is unmolested with the need to be bilingual.

Oh yes, that's something I don't like. I often buy from the USA too.

Isn't it a part of the globalisation trend that consumers have the choice to purchase from anywhere they like globally based on their own values. Some may prefer a quick service and pay a premium for a local retailer and others may look for a lower price elsewhere.

Amazon.ca don't set the price... Major hollywood set the MSRP for movie..

For example. FOX MSRP is 39.99$US (Witch is 27.99$ after 30% Amazon discount) with FOX Canada MSRP is 49.99$ ..

CHECK www.sigelectronics.com FIRST!!! They have an awesome sale on this weekend!!! $19.99 is their most expensive Blu-ray right now and you get extra discounts for an order of 10 or 15. I just ordered 15 Blu-rays today and with taxes and shipping factored in, I paid $17.57 per title!!!
