Last Blu-ray bought? Saw 3. Before that was NIN:Beside You in Time. I only have 6 movies but I'm waiting for Halloween to come around. I thought I read a rumor to expect some horror titles around then.

Default Shopping...

My official last was yesterday at Best Buy in Columbia, Missouri. I traveled back there to graduate and figured I would stop in to see what BDs they had in-stock, picked up Full Metal Jacket for $18.99 and got the Spider-Man 3 preview disc for free. I think their price tag was a mis-label because it rang-up for 24.99, but hey, the label over-rules! Other than that, last week: The Queen, Deja Vu, Night at the Museum, and Dreamgirls. Dang I'm broke!

Hey, give me a break, I've held off on it all along and figured I had to buy something! I'm getting ready to buy Planet Earth from Amazon in a few days when I get paid again, but come on, teacher's salary here.... gotta save up for those big purchases and May 22 is gonna leave me flat out, no shirt on my back, broke! I've already preorderd POTC 1 & 2, but there's more I want. As a teacher, gotta get Freedom Writers , AKA "Nice White Lady". Looking back, maybe I should have waited until the 27th to buy Full Metal Jacket, but I couldn't pass up the $6 savings. I'm cheap, so sue me!

no, I was just remembering what the 3rd title I bought was from my post before yours. couldn't you buy movies like black hawk down or kingdom of heaven show them in a class and write them off as ''work materials'' calling them historical movies? or get house of flying daggers, curse of the golden flower, and the last samurai and say you're teaching about asian culture?

I wouldn't malign morpheus or his bd collection.

I believe in the insiders' forum that Bram Stoker's Dracula is mentioned as coming in the next few months. That will be a must buy for me as well. Another forum for Fox mentions Turistas for this August.

Yeah I'm really looking forward to Bram Stoker's Dracula. I saw it on HDNet Movies and it looked frickin awesome. Sounded great too. I'm hoping New Line comes through with A Nightmare on Elm Street. I think that would be supercool.

Cause you know Morpheus can't wait for The One on BD, it is inevitable... I only show one full-length movie a year in my classes, otherwise the powers that be will be on my a$$, and that combined with the no shirt on my back is not good! I have been showing "Joan of Arc" for the age-level I teach (middle-school). I must say that Kingdom of Heaven is weighing heavily on my hand each time I pick it up! I might be able to write-off Planet Earth as I'm thinking about showing it as an "After School Special" for those middle schoolers interested.
